About Kirsten Hannan Osteopath & IBCLC Sydney
Hi, I’m Kirsten! I’m an Australian-trained and registered osteopath with over 20 years of clinical experience, offering holistic osteopathic care for the whole family. I have a special interest in pregnancy and postpartum care, and I love working with babies and children of all ages.
In addition to my osteopathic training, I am also a registered International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). This unique combination allows me to integrate gentle, effective bodywork with evidence-based lactation support—helping mothers overcome challenges and achieve their individual breastfeeding goals, whatever they may be.
I began my career as a senior associate osteopath in a busy private clinic in Australia, where I worked for three years before relocating to Singapore in 2008. There, I joined Osteopathic Health Care and practiced for 12 years, building a strong reputation for family-based care. In 2020, I returned to Sydney and now practise at Body of Life Health Centre, a multidisciplinary health clinic, in Frenchs Forest.
My mission is to provide gentle, informed care for you and your little ones – at every stage. With over 20 years of clinical experience—and a deep understanding of the challenges that come with parenting—I’m committed to helping you understand the root causes of pain or discomfort, whether it’s your own or your child’s.
By explaining what’s happening, why it’s happening now, and how we can work together toward recovery, I aim to give you not just relief, but long-term confidence in your body’s ability to heal. Through skilled osteopathic treatment and personalised care, I’m here to help you feel informed, supported, and well.

Jamu Postnatal Massage: The Nurturing Tradition Every New Mother Should Experience For Deep Recovery
This is truly special to witness; it's a real privilege. As I’m within the sanctuary of the family's home for up to 4 weeks, you subtly and gratefully become part of the furniture, quietly and respectfully. So as the days pass through this ancient lineage of care, you see things shift physically, which is pure biology to me, but also her smile changes as you walk through the door, her eyes are more vibrant and her skin colour changes
