About Perinatal and Beyond Counselling
Hi, I’m Zoe.
If you’re reading this, chances are you’re carrying a lot right now. Maybe you’re pregnant and the worry won’t switch off. Maybe the baby is here and you feel nothing like the person you expected to be. Maybe your youngest is now a toddler and you’re only just realising how much you’ve been holding together on empty. Wherever you are, you’re in the right place, and you don’t need to have it all figured out to reach out.
I’m a Counsellor specialising in perinatal and postnatal mental health, and I work with women through pregnancy, birth, and the years that follow. That includes anxiety, low mood, difficult or unexpected birth experiences, the loss of identity that can come with becoming a mother, and the sheer weight of the mental load. Nothing is too big, too small, or too messy to bring into the room.
I’m a mum of three myself, so I know that parenthood is wonderful, exhausting, and full of moments no one warned you about. I’m also a Bachelors and Masters of Counselling graduate and an ACA Registered Counsellor (Level 2), so you can be confident you’re getting professional, evidence-informed care as well as a warm, understanding ear.
My approach is simple. I won’t judge you, rush you, or hand you a list of things you “should” be doing. Together we’ll make space for how you’re really feeling and work out what support looks like for you.
I run my practice, Perinatal & Beyond Counselling, from the Camden, Sydney area, and offer Telehealth sessions Australia-wide. That means you can talk to me from your own couch, in between feeds and nap times, without having to organise childcare or leave the house. In addition, I offer Walk and Talk sessions which are becoming a firm favourite with current clients.
If you’re wondering whether counselling might help, I’d love to hear from you. Taking that first step is often the hardest part, and you don’t have to take it alone.

Dear Mama, We see you. As a society, we sit here adding to the pressure, adding to the load and, let's be brutally honest - failing you miserably every step of the way. We owe you an apology.
