About Olive & Kin
Olive & Kin is an Australian registered charity and not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting families who have experienced the loss of a baby. We provide handmade ceramic urns free of charge to families in need, offering a beautiful way to hold and honour their baby’s ashes.
Each personalised urn is handmade by our Founder, Hannah, a midwife and mother of three, two living children and one who died. Her personal experience of loss deeply informs the care and intention behind every piece. Having walked this path herself, Hannah understands how meaningful it can be to have something tangible, beautiful and thoughtfully made to hold your baby’s ashes.
Our work is made possible through donations and community support, allowing us to continue providing these pieces to bereaved families at no cost to them.
We also offer a small range of products including Pregnancy After Loss Affirmation Cards, Grief Affirmation Cards, and NICU Milestone Cards, with 100% of profits directly supporting our mission to provide free urns to families in need.
Olive & Kin occasionally facilitates workshops and remembrance events in collaboration with organisations such as Red Nose, creating safe spaces for families who have been touched by pregnancy or infant loss. These sessions offer opportunities for creativity, connection, reflection, and remembrance.
Through every aspect of our work, Olive & Kin aims to bring comfort and compassion to families during some of the most difficult seasons of their lives, reminding them that they are not alone and that their babies will always be remembered.
