About Lisa Ransome Reproductive Psychology

If you’re navigating the emotional ups and downs of trying to build a family, healing after loss, or stepping into motherhood with both hope and anxiety, you’ll find a grounded and compassionate ally in Lisa Ransome.

Lisa is not just a Reproductive and Perinatal Psychologist— Lisa is someone who has walked parts of this territory herself and built my practice around the real, human experience of it.

With more than fifteen years in psychology, Lisa brings professional depth and lived experience to supporting women, men, and couples through the full spectrum of reproductive challenges and transitions. That means non-judgmental, practical, and emotionally attuned support for people who are trying to conceive, facing fertility treatments, experiencing loss, or navigating pregnancy and early parenthood in ways they hadn’t expected.

At its heart, Lisa’s work is about holding space for the emotional reality of family building—whether that’s the disappointment and exhaustion of infertility, the grief of miscarriage or stillbirth, the complex feelings that come with treatment, or the joy and stress of pregnancy and postpartum life. She uses evidence-based therapies like CBT, ACT, compassion-focused approaches, and trauma-informed work such as EMDR to help you cope, understand, and move forward at your pace.

You can work with Lisa one-on-one or as a couple, in person in Ballarat or via telehealth, and she also offers consultation for assisted reproductive arrangements like donor conception and surrogacy. Her approach is collaborative—you are the expert in your life story, and she’s here to help you make sense of it, find strength in it, and create a way forward that feels grounded and hopeful.

Whether this is your first pregnancy, your tenth fertility treatment cycle, or you’re learning how to care for yourself after loss, Lisa’s work is tailored to meet you where you are and help you carry on with confidence, clarity, and compassion.
