About Nourish & Nurture Mother & Baby
Hi, my name is Sharon and I am a Postpartum Doula, Paediatric and NICU RN, Infant Massage Instructor, Baby & Child First Aid Educator and perhaps most importantly a
Mother and Grandmother.
As your postpartum professional, my goal is to empower you, the newborn mother, through nourishing and nurturing you, to recover your strength, build your confidence, find your rhythm and flourish in your new season.
Nourish & Nurture postpartum support can include practical home help, meal preparation, debriefing your birth experience, providing a reassuring presence and listening ear, promoting and enabling self-care, enlisting your village and providing support with baby care including bathing, massage, feeding, sleep and settling.
Your chosen package is tailored to your specific needs. Or you may just want a prenatal consultation to plan and prepare for your postpartum using supports you already have in place.
Services Offered:
- No Obligation Meet & Greet – A short informal meeting to help you decide if I am the right fit for you, with no obligation to proceed any further.
- Postpartum Planning Session – A time to get to know one another and discuss your hopes and plans for the days after birthing your baby. Together we consider your individual needs, priorities and values and the best course of action to see these fulfilled. You may have all the support you need from family and friends and just need my help to gather your village and delegate care.
Alternatively, you can choose a package of care delivered by me that best suits your needs
- Home Visit – When you need some help but not a whole package.
- In-Home Support Package – Tailored to your specific needs.

Helping Children Navigate Grief
Children experience grief differently than adults. They may not have the words to express their feelings, so they show them in other ways—through tears, anger, or even unexpected silliness. What is a Doula?
Today, a doula is typically someone who acts as a hub of support, referrals and resources for a person during a major life transition, usually related to birth. Doulas have a holistic approach that considers both mental and physical well-being. Services vary significantly but can include emotional reassurance, information based on scientific evidence, and comfort techniques like massage and nourishing food. The role is not medical, and doulas cannot treat, diagnose or cure any disease.
