We provide both in-home and remote support, including our ‘Newborn Nights’ service, which offers overnight care from a trained newborn care specialist, giving parents much-needed respite. Our ‘Fourth Trimester Program’ ensures a smooth and positive transition to parenthood.
Our mission is simple: to bring confidence, support, and consistency to families when it’s needed most—at sleep time. Whether you’re establishing your baby’s first routine or tackling toddler sleep challenges, we’re here to help your family thrive, night after night.

Blossom Doula Care
Hi my name is Janine. I’ve been so lucky to work with many mums, dads, babies and their families over the past 30 years as a registered nurse specialising in obstetrics and as a trained mentor, birth and postpartum doula, educator and mum of 3. I’m truly passionate about supporting families as they grow and transition into their wonderful fourth trimester and settle into life as parents and as a new family. It’s a joy to see parents grow in confidence and enjoy this precious time surrounded by love, nourishment, nurturing care, practical help, and a kind guiding hand to support them. Caring for the new and healing mum is so important as she is able to rest and get to know her little one.
It’s a privilege to be part of this wonderful journey with them all.

We have cherry picked the most useful resources for your fourth trimester so that you don't have to waste precious hours searching.

What is a Doula?
Today, a doula is typically someone who acts as a hub of support, referrals and resources for a person during a major life transition, usually related to birth. Doulas have a holistic approach that considers both mental and physical well-being. Services vary significantly but can include emotional reassurance, information based on scientific evidence, and comfort techniques like massage and nourishing food. The role is not medical, and doulas cannot treat, diagnose or cure any disease.

Every New Parent Should Have The Gift of A Birth Debrief
A birth debriefing allows you to reflect on and honor your birth experience, whether it was joyful or challenging. This supportive process provides a safe space to process emotions, gain clarity, and find closure as you step into parenthood with confidence. Your birth story deserves to be heard. This post shows how a compassionate birth debriefing session can help you process your experience, find closure, and step into parenthood with clarity and support.

The 'perfect mother' myth: What is it and why does it exist?

Tips to avoid maternal burnout
Perfectionism is not a healthy habit. Even less so when it comes to motherhood, unless you’re keen to rub shoulders with overwhelm, resentment, rage and the feeling of never being satisfied, which can eventually lead to maternal burnout.
