About Beautifully Abundant Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga
Beautifully Abundant supports women through pregnancy, postpartum and motherhood with nurturing yoga, practical support and a strong focus on helping women feel calm, confident and connected during one of the biggest transitions of their lives.
I’m Kathryn, the founder of Beautifully Abundant, a specialist pregnancy and postnatal yoga teacher, motherhood mentor and mum of three.
Pregnancy yoga is at the heart of what I offer. My classes are designed specifically for the changing pregnant body and are suitable throughout pregnancy, with no previous yoga experience needed.
Through gentle movement, breathwork, relaxation and education, I help women feel stronger and more comfortable in their bodies, prepare physically and mentally for birth, reduce stress and create space to connect with their baby.
I offer pregnancy yoga both in person across Brisbane and live online, making it easier for women to access supportive, specialist pregnancy yoga wherever they are. My approach goes beyond simply modifying a general yoga class for pregnancy. Each session is thoughtfully designed around the physical, emotional and energetic changes that occur during this season of life.
I also offer postnatal yoga and Mums & Bubs classes to gently support recovery after birth, rebuild strength and provide mothers with a space to reconnect with themselves while keeping baby close.
For women wanting more individual support, I offer one-to-one yoga and mentoring sessions, available online and in-person in the comfort of your home. These can be tailored to pregnancy, postpartum, stress, overwhelm, self-care and the transition into motherhood.
I also offer Closing of the Bones ceremonies, a beautiful postpartum-inspired ritual designed to honour and support a mother after pregnancy and birth. At the heart of Beautifully Abundant is a simple philosophy: ancient wisdom made simple for modern motherhood.
My aim is to create warm, inclusive and supportive spaces where women feel cared for, empowered and more connected to themselves throughout pregnancy and beyond.

How to Talk About Sharing the Mental Load with Your Partner: A Complete Guide
In many households, the mental and emotional work of managing a family, often called the invisible load, falls disproportionately on mothers. It's not just about doing tasks; it's about carrying the mental checklist: remembering appointments, organising activities, planning meals, and anticipating everyone's needs. Over time, this invisible mental load can lead to resentment, overwhelm, and burnout.

Finding Calm within the Chaos
This idea flips the script. Instead of seeing happiness, peace or calm as something that only exists in the future, tied to the achievement of a goal, it invites you to find joy and satisfaction in the present moment. It’s a reminder that your feelings aren’t just an outcome of a milestone, but they are a tool for creating it.

Human Design for Motherhood: Understanding Yourself, Your Child, and Your Parenting
At first glance, you might wonder how Human Design is relevant to your motherhood journey, but I want to share with you the incredible wisdom that this modality offers. The way I see it, this support comes in three powerful ways. It provides guidance and understanding of yourself — how you’re wired and what your needs are. It offers insight into your child and practical guidance to parent in accordance with their unique nature. It strengthens the bond between you, helping you foster a relationship built on understanding rather than expectation.
