About Bond Lactation Consulting

Isabella is an IBCLC, Registered Nurse, mother to one and the founder of Bond Lactation Consulting.

Becoming a parent comes with a lot of advice, opinions and expectations, and feeding your baby can sometimes feel like one of the biggest things to get ‘right’. Isabella believes it doesn’t have to be that way.

Through Bond Lactation Consulting, Isabella provides warm, evidence-based and judgement-free feeding support for families across Brisbane. Whether you’re preparing for breastfeeding, navigating the early days, managing pumping or expressing, introducing bottles, combination feeding or working through feeding challenges, Isabella is there to help you feel informed, confident and supported every step of the way.

With a background in neonatal intensive care and paediatric nursing, Isabella brings both clinical experience and a genuine understanding of life with a baby. She also holds a Master of Teaching, reflecting her passion for education and helping families understand the ‘why’ behind infant feeding. As a mum herself, Isabella knows that feeding plans need to work not just for your baby, but for you and your family too.

Bond Lactation Consulting offers personalised in-home and clinic consultations, with each session centred around your baby, your goals and what is happening for your family right now. Isabella takes the time to listen, observe a feed and work alongside you to understand what is going on, before developing practical strategies you can confidently use at home. Every family leaves with a clear, individualised plan and ongoing support to help put it into practice.

There is no one ‘right’ way to feed a baby. Breastfeeding, expressed breast milk, formula or a combination can all be part of a happy, healthy feeding journey. The goal is not perfection. It’s helping you feel informed, confident and supported in the choices that are right for your family.

Based in Bulimba, Brisbane, Bond Lactation Consulting helps families feel less overwhelmed and more confident as they navigate infant feeding, from those first feeds through to the many changes that come along the way.
