About Kindred Midwifery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Kindred. Delivering Change.
Kindred bridges the gaps that exist in maternity care, and allow women and families access care that is important to them in all aspects. Continuity with known care providers throughout pregnancy and into parenthood has enormous benefits for a family, and we acknowledge that care during this time is more effective when provided in collaboration, rather than isolation.
We deeply value and respect the complimentary skills and knowledge that obstetricians and midwives have to offer, which is why we offer them together. We provide access to both midwives and obstetricians, with a personalised service designed around clinical needs, personal preferences and priorities.

Services vary significantly but can include emotional reassurance, information based on scientific evidence, and comfort techniques like massage and nourishing food. The role is not medical, and doulas cannot treat, diagnose or cure any disease.
