About The Birth Bag
The Birth Bag is a complete birth preparation system: online education, partner training and a curated set of labour tools, delivered anywhere in Australia. It’s built for parents planning a physiological birth who want to walk into labour calm, confident and ready, not just informed.
Most birth preparation stops at information. You read the books, finish the course, and still don’t know what to do when a contraction hits. Partners want to help but are rarely shown how. The Birth Bag is different because it pairs the education with the practice. You learn it, then you rehearse it with the tools you’ll actually use in labour.
Every Birth Bag includes access to The Birth Method, a self-paced course covering how birth works, how to prepare your body, your options, and exactly how your partner can support you through contractions and navigate the system you’re birthing in. Alongside the course, you receive a 6 week hire of the physical Birth Bag including a TENS machine, rebozo, acupressure tools, birth comb, partner support cards and more, ready to practise with during pregnancy and use on the day.
The Birth Bag was founded by Rose, a Certified birth doula, birth educator and VBAC mum, after experiencing first-hand how much practical preparation can change birth. Her approach is grounded in evidence and focused on helping families prepare for physiological birth with knowledge, practical skills and confidence.
Whether you’re expecting your first baby or hoping for a different experience this time around, The Birth Bag gives you everything you need to prepare for birth together, with free Australia-wide shipping and instant online access.
