About Amanda Nina Photography
Hi, I’m Amanda, the photographer behind Amanda Nina Photography.
I’m a Sydney-based family and newborn photographer specialising in calm, baby-led in-home newborn sessions and relaxed outdoor family photography.
I work with families across Sydney to capture the early days with your baby and the joyful, often wonderfully chaotic moments of family life as your children grow.
As a mum of two myself, I understand just how full those early months of motherhood can feel. The newborn stage is a mix of love, exhaustion, wonder and learning, and it passes by incredibly quickly. These days with your baby are so sacred, my approach is to document them in a natural and meaningful way, creating an experience that is calm and enjoyable.
Each year I photograph hundreds of Sydney families, and creating a calm, welcoming experience where everyone feels comfortable is always my priority.
My newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your own home, where your baby is most settled and where your family has just begun life together. Using natural light and a calm, gentle approach, I create a relaxed space where you can simply cuddle your baby while I document the connection between you. There is no need for a perfect home or a perfectly settled baby. I guide you through the experience so it feels easy, comfortable and enjoyable.
For family sessions, we head outdoors to some of Sydney’s beautiful beaches, parks and headlands for a little adventure together. These sessions are playful and relaxed, giving kids the freedom to explore, run, laugh and simply be themselves while I capture the genuine connection within your family.
Together we create a beautiful visual story of your family, filled with laughter, connection and all the little details that make this stage of life so special.

The Beauty in the Chaos: Why Capturing the Early Days of Motherhood Matters
My clients often feel quite emotional when they receive their images as it reflects back to them about their current life.
