About North Shore Doula
Hey, I’m Kelly, a mum of 3 and a Birth & Postpartum Doula on Sydney’s North Shore. I provide mother-centred care, support and nurturing when pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are busy cracking your world wide open in beautiful and confronting ways.
Motherhood can feel like everyone shows up for your baby. But I show up for you. I help you prepare for, and embrace, this wild new adventure with gentle guidance and a healthy dose of pragmatism. As a mum with two grown-up kids and one in primary school, I’ve come out the other side, and not just survived, but (mostly) thrived. I bring my experience, soothing manner, and non-judgmental approach to your birth and fourth trimester.
Being your doula is both a professional and personal relationship, which means we have to gel for it to truly work. So a little bit about me…
I’ve had careers spanning marketing, counselling, and business writing, so I’ve worked in corporate land and with some of society’s most vulnerable people. I try hard to put good into the world because I want to leave it a better place than when I arrived (currently losing that battle).
I believe solving a problem starts with a cup of tea (tell me you’re English without telling me you’re English), I believe there’s no one right way to birth or parent, and I believe women are flipping amazing and deserve way more credit and reverence than they get.
So if all that sounds like I might be your person, reach out and let’s have a chat to see if sparks fly.
