The Possums Clinic
The Possums Clinic has been a trusted name in infant and toddler care since its founding in 2011. Known for its evidence-based approach, the clinic has supported thousands of families through the earliest — and often most challenging, months and years of parenthood.
At the heart of the clinic are Dr Pamela Douglas, internationally recognised leader in infant and family care, author of The Discontented Little Baby Book, and respected researcher, and Bree Cosgrove, a compassionate Registered Nurse, NDC Accredited Practitioner and educator. Together, they offer families an unparalleled level of support.
Dr Pamela and Bree provide holistic care for:
- Breastfeeding (at any age)
- Infant and toddler sleep
- Unsettled infant behaviour (under 6 months)
Their approach has been shown to have meaningful outcomes for families, including:
- Reduced postnatal depression scores
- Longer breastfeeding durations
- Enhanced maternal sleep satisfaction
- A statistically significant reduction in infant crying times
Their work is built on four guiding pillars:
- Supporting your baby’s rapidly developing brain
- Protecting your mental wellbeing as a parent
- Grounding their support through evidence
- Growing joy in everyday family life
Whether in-person at their Brisbane clinic or via Telehealth across Australia, The Possums Clinic is here to empower you as the experts of your little one.
