About Pink Flamingo Postpartum Care & Wellbeing
Hi there! I’m Hats – a Sydney-based postpartum doula, Mothers’ Blessing facilitator, and the mother of two little boys.
I support pregnant and new mothers with wholesome, delicious food, a keen listening ear, heart-felt rituals, grounding practices and lots of reassurance – you’ve got this mama!
Postpartum can be such a vulnerable time, but it can also be wonderfully transformative when you have the right support to help you process and understand the huge changes happening in your brain, body and identity.
The ways I can support you:
- Postpartum Doula care (in-home)
- Mothers’ Blessings
- Mothers’ Circles (monthly in Bronte, Sydney)
- Pregnancy Mentoring & Postpartum Planning
I came to this work through my own transition into motherhood and a deep curiosity about how women have traditionally been cared for after birth. So much of that wisdom has been lost in modern life, and I am passionate about helping bring it back in a way that feels life-giving and realistic for today.
My approach is both practical and holistic. I draw on traditional knowledge, current research, and a deep respect for each woman’s individual experience, supporting you to find what feels right for you.
My love of simple rituals, beautiful spaces and deep nourishment is woven into the way I work with you. As women, there is something so powerful and calming about care that engages all our senses.
This is a time that asks a lot of you, and calls for deep rest, support and care. It would be an honour to support you as you find your footing in this new chapter.
“Having a postpartum doula like Hats was not just helpful, it was essential. It felt like having a wise and caring friend come to nurture and support me during such a tender time. Hats offered me was something I didn’t realise I would need so much: practical nourishment and care.” — Destiny, first-time mother

Helping Children Navigate Grief
Children experience grief differently than adults. They may not have the words to express their feelings, so they show them in other ways—through tears, anger, or even unexpected silliness. Some days, they may seem perfectly fine, and the next, a wave of sadness can hit them out of nowhere. It’s all part of how they process the big feelings they don’t fully understand yet.
