About Thérèse Price Clinical Psychology
I’m Thérèse, a clinical psychologist and mum. I provide a warm, compassionate space for women, mothers, and families to feel supported through the often complex and emotional journey of pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood.
Whilst I work with adolescents and adults, I have a special interest in perinatal mental health, eating disorders, and body image concerns. I am particularly passionate about supporting women who feel distressed by the changes to their bodies during pregnancy and after birth, or who are navigating disordered eating, food guilt, or a difficult relationship with their body during this time.
Motherhood can bring intense pressure around how we “should” look, feel, and cope. I support women experiencing anxiety, low mood, burnout, identity shifts, birth-related distress, and challenges adjusting to life as a parent. I also work with individuals experiencing eating disorders, perfectionism, and relationship or attachment difficulties.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and neuro-affirming. I draw on evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT, schema therapy, and compassion-focused approaches, tailoring therapy to your individual needs and goals. I am also a trained circle of security (COS-P) facilitator, and can support parents with fostering attachment security in their children.
As a mum myself, I understand how vulnerable this stage of life can feel. My aim is to help you feel more at home in your body, rebuild trust in yourself, and navigate motherhood with greater confidence, self-compassion, and support.
