About Fantastic Futures
Hi, I’m Philippa and I’m the founder of Fantastic Futures and creator of The Family Architect brand. I’m a transformative birth and parenting coach, TRTP trauma therapist, experienced full-spectrum doula focused on Maternal Transitions, and mother of four based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
With over 20 years of hands-on experience in birth work and parenting support, I help mothers heal from birth trauma, break free from generational patterns, and step into confident, intentional parenting. My approach is trauma-informed, nervous-system-first, and deeply rooted in personal lived experience, because I’ve walked this path myself and I know how isolating and overwhelming it can feel.
My signature offering, The Regulated Mother Method™, combines nervous system regulation, trauma healing through TRTP (The Richards Trauma Process), and practical parenting strategies to create lasting transformation from the inside out. Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating the overwhelming early days of motherhood, processing a birth experience that didn’t go to plan, or working through patterns that are affecting your parenting, I meet you where you are with zero judgement and genuine understanding.
I offer personalised one-on-one coaching programs, birth preparation and healing sessions, sleep support that honours the parent-child relationship, doula services, and an online membership community called Mum Wise, a nurturing space where mothers can access resources, connect with other mums, and feel genuinely supported on their journey.
I also host The Family Architect podcast: Parenting by Design, Rather than by Default, and I’m the author of Finding Your Tribe: From Isolation to Connection, written for every mother who has ever felt alone in this journey.
Everything I do comes back to one core belief: when we heal ourselves, we change the legacy for our children. You’re not broken, you’re awakening. If you’re a new or expecting mother looking for compassionate, expert support that goes deeper than surface-level advice, I’d love to connect and walk alongside you.

Why Would a Baby Need to See a Chiropractor?
Gentle care, big impact — what infant chiropractic is really about When people hear the words “chiropractor” and “baby” in the same sentence, it can raise eyebrows — and fair enough. At Nomad Chiropractic, we don’t “crack” newborns or treat them like tiny adults. In fact, our work with babies is one of the gentlest and most intuitive things we do.

Why Hiring Postpartum In-Home Support Can Transform Your Recovery
If I had my way, support would be non-negotiable and, in an ideal world, would have government funding, so everyone can access the help we all deserve. We can shape our families' and therefore babies' complete outcomes (and lives!) by providing education, but above all, support in those early days. It is essential for a mother who has given birth to rest and recover.
