About Restful Beginnings
Helping parents understand the ‘why’ behind their child’s behaviour, so they can respond with curiosity, confidence and a deeper trust in themselves and their relationship with their child.
At Restful Beginnings, I support parents to build strong, secure relationships with their children through compassionate, evidence-informed care. I believe that when parents feel understood, supported, and confident, families are better equipped to navigate the challenges of parenting and thrive together, including achieving more settled sleep.
Restful Beginnings offers specialised parenting and infant sleep support grounded in attachment theory, infant mental health, and child development. As a qualified health professional, registered counsellor, and Infant Mental Health Practitioner, I bring a unique combination of clinical expertise and practical, relationship-based guidance. I am also a certified facilitator of the internationally recognised Circle of Security Parenting™ and Tuning in to Kids® programs, helping parents better understand their child’s emotional needs, strengthen connection and foster lifelong emotional wellbeing.
Our tailored, responsive approach to sleep recognises that sleep is closely linked to every individual child’s development and temperament. Rather than using one-size-fits-all methods, we work collaboratively with families to develop realistic, responsive strategies that support both healthy sleep and the entire family’s wellbeing.
We provide a warm, non-judgemental space where families feel safe, heard, and empowered. Whether you’re preparing for parenthood, navigating sleep challenges, or seeking support with your child’s emotional or behavioural development, Restful Beginnings is here to help your family find more rest, confidence and connection.
