Olive & Kin
Not For Profit

Olive & Kin

Olive & Kin is an Australian registered charity and not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting families who have experienced the loss of a baby. We provide handmade ceramic urns free of charge to families in need, offering a beautiful way to hold and honour their baby’s ashes.

Each personalised urn is handmade by our Founder, Hannah, a midwife and mother of three, two living children and one who died. Her personal experience of loss deeply informs the care and intention behind every piece. Having walked this path herself, Hannah understands how meaningful it can be to have something tangible, beautiful and thoughtfully made to hold your baby’s ashes.

Our work is made possible through donations and community support, allowing us to continue providing these pieces to bereaved families at no cost to them.

We also offer a small range of products including Pregnancy After Loss Affirmation Cards, Grief Affirmation Cards, and NICU Milestone Cards, with 100% of profits directly supporting our mission to provide free urns to families in need.

Olive & Kin occasionally facilitates workshops and remembrance events in collaboration with organisations such as Red Nose, creating safe spaces for families who have been touched by pregnancy or infant loss. These sessions offer opportunities for creativity, connection, reflection, and remembrance.

Through every aspect of our work, Olive & Kin aims to bring comfort and compassion to families during some of the most difficult seasons of their lives, reminding them that they are not alone and that their babies will always be remembered.

Nourishy

Hi, I’m Cass — a mum of three and the founder of Nourishy. Like many mums, I know firsthand the challenges of expressing breast milk, navigating returning to work, travelling with a frozen stash, or simply wanting to make sure every drop of our “liquid gold” is used. That’s why I created Nourishy: to give families a safe, science-backed way to preserve their breast milk for the long term.

Nourishy is Australia’s first freeze-drying service for personal breast milk. We gently freeze-dry your milk at our medical-grade facility, turning it into a shelf-stable powder that lasts up to 3 years — no fridge or freezer needed. It’s convenient, travel-friendly, and perfect for shared feeding, daycare, and those “just in case” moments.

We’ve completed over 3,000 shipments across Australia, all arriving safely at our Brisbane facility— a testament to the robust process and care we take with every order. Each mum’s milk is handled individually and with the highest level of safety and attention — because we know how precious it is.

Whether you’re heading back to work, your freezer’s overflowing, or you’re building an emergency stash, we’re here to help you keep giving your baby your breast milk.

We’ve also partnered with the incredible team at Mother’s Milk Bank Charity to help freeze dry donor milk across Australia.

We are the offical partner to Milkify in the US. At Nourishy, it’s not just about preserving breast milk — it’s about supporting you on your feeding journey and creating peace of mind, one pouch at a time.

Newborn Home Care

Newborn Home Care is a home-based and Zoom online nursing and lactation service providing parents with guidance and support to welcome a new baby. We can help you to settle into life with your new little one and feel confident with how to feed and care for him in ways that help him be content. An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant is available, offering the latest evidence-based support to help with any breastfeeding or lactation concerns.

Our expertise is in caring for newborn babies in the early months, including multiple births and those born prematurely or with complex medical needs. We have gentle, well researched and science-based strategies to help you with your baby’s breast or bottle feeding, their crying, settling and sleep. The support we provide works alongside your parenting values and in sync with your baby’s biology to help you manage the challenges that families commonly encounter with a new baby in the home.

Newborn Home Care offers a range of support services that are grounded in the latest research in infant management, known as Neuro- Protective Developmental Care (NDC), or the Possums approach. This approach is gentle and simple, yet revolutionary, cutting through old and conflicting advice about how to care for babies, to instead work holistically with your baby’s natural biology.

At Newborn Home Care we understand that there are times when adjusting to life with a new baby can be a bit of a struggle, particularly if there were difficulties encountered with baby’s birth, his health, or with breastfeeding. We also know that sometimes mothers themselves have complications that interrupt the straightforward path that was anticipated, leaving them feeling less than strong after the birth. In circumstances like this – and sometimes for no reason at all – the early weeks and first few months, can bring some unexpected challenges that may cause you to reach out for help with looking after your baby. Don’t feel you can’t pick up the phone and talk to Julie about your circumstances. Our initial conversation is free.
