About Your Birth Story
I’m Caroline — an experienced pregnancy, birth and postpartum doula. I’m based on the North Shore and I support women and families across Sydney.
I’m here to help you feel confident, safe and even excited about your birth experience — whatever that looks like for you. At the heart of my work is a balance of practical support and genuine connection.
Clients often tell me they value my calm, easygoing nature — and that I bring both grounded energy and a sense of humour when it’s needed most.
Every family is different, and I honour that. I offer non-judgemental support, evidence-based information, and hands-on comfort measures (if that’s something you like), all tailored to your needs and preferences — so you have the best chance of the birth experience you’re hoping for.
As a Mum I’ve given birth three times. Each was a different and unique experience, all in their own ways tough and challenging – but also incredible. This helped me understand that there is no right or best way to approach childbirth. You and your partner (if you have one) should bring your own personality, values and preferences to the occasion.
My own first birth resulted in a Caesarean, and my next two births were VBACs. I chose to work with a doula for my second and third births, so I know the value of having that kind of support beside you.
Since training with the Australian Doula College, I’ve continued to deepen my skills through additional training in Optimal Maternal Positioning (OMP), Body Ready Method and Spinning Babies. These have given me a strong understanding of body biomechanics and how to help mothers move in ways that creates more balance and space in their bodies — helping babies find optimal positions for smoother births.
I’ve also trained in acupressure, birth mapping, VBAC-specific education (including Hazel Keedle’s workshops), and trauma-informed care through “When Survivors Give Birth.”
I work comfortably across all birth settings — hospital, birth centre or home — and would love to support you wherever you feel most comfortable.
If this feels like the kind of support you’re looking for, let’s connect. We can have a chat over the phone or meet for a coffee and see if I’m the right fit for you.

How to Calm Your Nervous System During Stressful Times (Especially for Mothers)
